TRAVIS OSHIRO
CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Travis is a personal trainer who helps his clients to reach their personal fitness goals. Travis’ jaycee journey began through RPJ volleyball, where he built his leadership skills as a Sports Director. Travis has also served as RPJ’s 2021 Treasurer.

As the 2022 RPJ President, Travis is working to rebuild RPJ’s volleyball leagues and to increase membership. Outside of the volleyball and UFC gym, Travis is often running and competing in long distance races.

ANTHONY TO
DIRECTOR

Anthony began his jaycee journey while playing tennis with his friends at Kalihi Valley District Park.  Senator Eve Epitome noticed their potential and invited them to play with RPJ.  Anthony became an RPJ member in November 2021. Since then, Lori Goo and Anthony created of the RPJ tennis league! Anthony has also participated in RPJ projects, and joined RPJ’s 2022 Board of Directors. 

Projected to complete a BBA (Bachelor’s of Business Administration) in Marketing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Anthony will use his marketing skills to bring further recognition to RPJ.  Director Anthony’s jaycee goal is to improve the tennis league and to better the community!

SELINA WONG
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

Selina been an employee for the State of Hawaii since 2012. She began her Jaycee journey in mid 2021 by playing tennis with RPJ. Having served as the 2010 Recording Secretary for AIAS Hawaii, Selina filled in as RPJ’s Recording Secretary for the remainder of 2021.

Selina graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2011. Fun Fact: she placed first in a statewide competition for the National Institute of Peace in 2007. Selina intends to use her writing skills to communicate with RPJ’s membership and to make the public aware of how RPJ develops its membership. Selina’s interests include written communication, mental health awareness, and cleaning Hawaii’s beaches,

LORI GOO
RECORDING SECRETARY

Brought in through the RPJ tennis program, Lori was inducted as a new jaycee in November 2021. She and Anthony To co-manage the RPJ tennis program. Lori has experience in arranging data bills and account receivables. She is expected to graduate this spring with a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Marketing from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Lori began helping her community (ie. beach cleanups) as a high school student and has continued volunteer work through college. Volunteering at the Fransican Adult Day Center and extending assistance at the Makiki Community Library, Lori has contributed over a hundred hours of community service work. She hopes to continue working with and for Hawaiʻi, as she serves as RPJ’s 2022 Recording Secretary.

SHAWN UNEMORI
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

As a past Chapter President and Marketing Director, Shawn uses his digital art skills for our website, Facebook, and Instagram. Shawn also creates flyers for RPJ’s community services projects. He works at Costco and is a financial coach. He has worked as a Donation Attendant at Goodwill.
