2016 RPJ Board of Directors
The President oversees the complete operation of the chapter in accordance with the bylaws of the chapter and the strategic goals established for the year. The goal for this year is improve the past, innovate the present, inspire the future. Some of the duties are but not limited to leading Board meetings, preparing Board Agendas, and making decisions based upon the interest of the membership.
Vice President & Sports Director
The Vice President supports the President in all areas of the Board. He also acts as a proxy in the President’s absence. The Sports Director manages the athletic activities of the chapter. Some duties include, but are not limited to managing volleyball leagues, securing and finding gyms to hold events, and purchasing sport equipment as necessary.
Chairwoman of the Board & Membership Director
The Chairwoman of the Board provides guidance and support for the Board of Directors to ensure that strategic goals are being achieved. She also serves as an advisor to the President and aids in other areas of the Board when necessary. Some of her duties include, but are not limited to attending meetings, reviewing documents and decisions, and planning member events.
The Secretary is responsible for the Administrative duties of the chapter. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to recording minutes at meetings, organizing chapter files, and assisting other Board members when necessary.
Treasurer & Chaplain
The Treasurer helps to ensure the financial stability of the chapter. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to managing account payables and receivables, reimbursing people, and keeping accurate record of all financial accounts.
Business Relations Director
The Business Relations Director helps acquire new business relationships while maintaining and supporting the existing business relationships. Some of the duties are but not limited to, acting as a liaison between the chapter and new businesses, creating various directories, and securing sponsorships.
The Communications Director is responsible for managing and directing the chapter’s internal and external networks. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to managing and designing the website, planning events, talking and sending out correspondence to the membership.
The Community Director reaches out to other non-profit organizations and the membership to help acquire new working relationships and projects. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to managing current community contacts, talking to the membership, and developing new ideas in which the chapter can help the community.
The Marketing Director is responsible for the promotional and design aspect of the chapter. Some of the duties include, updating the website, managing social media accounts and designing chapter swag items.
