RPJ’s general membership meeting on Tuesday, March 13th at the Bikini Cantina in the Aloha Tower Marketplace was a gathering of old and new friends. The chapter took four new members beneath its wings: Dan Bayly, Kim Chikazawa, Denise Kersten and Danny Kilgore. Denise and Danny actually joined the chapter last year, but they were never officially sworn in. They were volunteers last year at the Special Olympics and Kaimuki Easter Egg Hunt. Kim plays volleyball in the Sunday league at Palolo, and she helped lead her company to adopt 25 duckies this year for the UCPA Rubber Duckie Race. Dan has been a friend of the chapter for the past two years, and he is spearing the effort to renovate the Hawaii Jaycees state office in Moili’ili. This meeting was the first at Bikini Cantina, a cozy bar and restaurant featuring tasty Mexican dishes and gorgeous views of Honolulu Harbor.
