RPJ Ranked 5th in Hawaii Jaycees

RPJ claimed 5th place in the Hawaii Jaycees Parade of Chapters at last night’s Second Trimester Awards Banquet held at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower. The Honolulu Chinese Jaycees took home the top spot. Several RPJ members received awards, as well. Jay Yamamoto, Shelby Taguma and Roger Gumerman were recognized as outstanding members for winning the debate competition at June’s national convention. Rica Castaneda earned the top treasurer award, and Anthony Higa took the top executive vice president medal (along with Honolulu Chinese Jaycees’ Anthony Sato). Rebecca Soon was also on hand to perform a beautiful hula.
