Part Two of Project Scheduled for November 19th
On Adopt-A-School Day, October 11, 2009, 13 RPJ members and friends repainted safety lines, handicap parking stalls, and a hopscotch-like game at Likelike Elementary School. Likelike was one of two schools that Hawaii State Schools Superintendent Patricia Hamamoto picked for adoption.
The painting party was part one of the chapter’s Adopt-A-School Day Project. The second part will be on November 19th at the school where we’ll set up info booths to teach students basic dental and personal hygiene. We’re also trying to bring in health consultants to speak to students and parents about immunizations. The topics were selected by the teachers. Check out more pics after the jump.
